Creating a careers page as part of your website has several benefits, as it converts your website into an additional avenue to outreach to interested job seekers and also reaches out to job seekers that are interested in your brand. While you are at it, it may even drive additional traffic that could spill over to sales, as you build more awareness of your brand.
If you’ve always wanted to create a careers tab or page for your company website but didn’t know how to (without breaking the bank), here’s a nifty cool way to get it up and running in 5 minutes or less!
Introducing your Career Portal Widget (Enterprise Feature)
Each of our enterprise user (yeaps, that’s you!) gets a dedicated, customized career portal widget that lists all your current active job positions that you have listed in our system. You can choose to direct interested job seekers to your customized career portal, or simply embed the career portal widget within your webpage so that job seekers can directly apply for the positions at your website.
If you have been putting up your email address on your careers webpage to invite interested job seekers to apply via email, please stop. There’s a better way to recruit without attracting additional spam to your over-burdened email inbox as it is!
Embedding your Career Portal Widget (5 minutes or less, we promise!)
Here’s how you can get your very own career portal up in minutes, powered with our enterprise-level recruitment platform at the backend that helps you process the incoming job applications:
1. After logging into StaffOnDemand, click on the “My Career Portal” option on the left menu bar and click on “Widget”
2. Choose from the widget option (whether you would like the widget to display as a side bar or full panel by toggling the tabs (This is probably the toughest thing to do in the 3-step process! :P)
3. Copy the code snippet provided and paste it within the code for your designated webpage (“Careers”, “Join Our Team”, “Jobs”, etc)
And that’s it! Simple huh? Probably takes you less than 5 minutes, and it’s a nifty way to get a professional looking careers page done up. Give us a thumbs up if you love this feature, and share the love with your friends that are also looking to hire!
