WDA Public Service Announcement: Beware of bogus sites!
The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) has recently took to Facebook to warn the public about websites and accounts with names similar to SkillsFuture that may contain inaccurate or misleading information and also be gathering personal data of the unsuspecting for commercial gain.
In particular, the two sites that are being “looked into” by WDA belong to a private school, Aventis School of Management (www.skillsfuture.edu.sg) and Glints, a tech start-up (www.skillsfuture.credit).
A quick check on both sites at the point of writing reveals that both sites are either made unavailable or redirected to the official SkillsFuture website (http://www.skillsfuture.sg).
In a nutshell, the public is advised to visit the official SkillsFuture website at www.skillsfuture.sg
